CURRENT WORK
Following the Great Commission
Republic of Congo
Pointe Noire:
Pointe Noire has a population of over 1.5 million and is the economic capital of the Republic of Congo.
Bisongo District:
This is a suburb of Pointe Noire that is poverty-stricken. Like our crusade in Lobito Angola last year that followed the larger crusade in Benguela, this one will ride the momentum of the crusade in Pointe Noire. This city is too far for most of its citizens to attend the main crusade, but there are hundreds of thousands of people living there.
Mozambique
Tete:
This is the ninth fastest growing city in Africa.
Quelimane:
This is the farthest east that the famous missionary David Livingston travelled. He came back repeatedly during his missionary explorations.
Nampula:
This town is in the northern third of Mozambique and has become a safe haven for refugees who are fleeing from conflict along the Mozambique and Tanzania border.
